In addition to kung fu, you are exposed to the other core arts of Kajukenbo, including Karate, Tang Soo Do, judo, jujitsu, kenpo, and boxing. Additionally, we teach submission wrestling and escrima at our school. In one unified curriculum, you can learn striking (punching, kicking, kneeing, elbowing, etc), throws, takedowns, submissions, forms and stick and knife fighting.

2) Proven self-defense that works.

Kajukenbo was developed in the slums of Hawaii in the 1940s, and severy technique incorporated into the art has been tested against fully resisting opponents. This tradition continues to this day, and every technique taught at Goldsmith Kung Fu and Mixed Martial Arts has been tested by someone in either a full contact MMA match, or in a real combat or self-defense situation. If it doesn't work, we don't teach it.
