Goldsmith Kung Fu classes are taught in a ~3000 square foot matted room subletted from Chapel Hill/Carrboro Tae Kwon Do with access to training equipment unavailable at the UNC-CH location. Classes are open to students of all skill levels (and prior martial arts experience), and follow the curriculum outlined on this webpage. Classes are for adults only (16+) with one exception: parents with children (10+) may enroll jointly with one of their parents. As a practically-oriented martial art, WHKD requires a strong understanding of the consequences of your actions in a self-defense situation, which is why we require a parent to attend classes with their child.

Pricing:

Everyone is welcome to attend one class for free. At the end of your trial class, you are eligible for our Introductory Offer, listed below.

Introductory Offer: Sign up for class at the end of your trial lesson and receive a free uniform t-shirt (a $20 value!)

Regular Pricing:

• Classes are $60 per month
  • Discounts of 25% for each additional family member
• $10 for a single, 90-minute group class.
• A special, discount rate for students able to attend only 1 class per week (please speak with Sifu Jason for details).
• Private lessons are $45 for 85 minutes.

Equipment:

• Uniform T-shirts are $30 for 2, or $20 for 1.
• Curriculum information (the “Redbook”) is $10/rank
• Sparring gear, cups, and mouthpieces are available on order at ~20-50% of MSRP.
